Dr. Henri Molhuizen

Henri is a Senior R&D executive with more than 25 years of international experience in Foods & Beverages, combined with a solid scientific background

He has worked at Universities (Nijmegen, Amsterdam), the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), Unilever, Dawn Foods, and most recently Nuritas – a successful Irish Biotech startup. 

Henri has proven to deliver at executive level with a track record of successful Foods & Beverages innovations and New Product Developments (NPDs) in various Categories across multiple geographies. 

He has successfully delivered in each part of the innovation process (early discovery, proof of principle, prototype and product development, production scale-up and product launch).

He brings experience translating business strategy into action and initiating and optimising innovation processes.

Optimisation of organisations and processes

As a senior manager Henri has led various organisational restructuring programs and optimised various innovation management processes. All aimed at driving increased efficiency and optimised R&D organisations. Seeking for synergies, driving focus, and reducing overlaps have always been key in his approach, while keeping the human factor top of mind.

 

Strong track record of innovations in Foods and Beverages

R&D Leadership

During almost 25 years in various R&D Leadership roles, Henri Molhuizen made significant contributions to a range of innovations and renovations across various brands in B2C as well as B2B companies.

For example, he led the Unilever R&D programs behind the very successful launch of Brooke Bond Red Label Natural Care in India, and the development of the Out-of-Home range of the new brand Pure Leaf. In Dawn Foods Henri was responsible for the development of sugar/fat/salt/calorie-reduced pastry products, gluten-free solutions, an award-winning vegan product range, and a highly innovative non-sticky donut glaze.
